Casa Herbalife Program

The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) has established its 15th Casa Herbalife program worldwide at NCH, the Children's Charity, to support children who live in poverty and who have to care for a member of their family or household, through the Hackney Young Carers Project, in London. The program will provide weekly sessions
where they can learn how to shop for and cook healthy meals. The Casa Herbalife program was set up in 2005 to partner with existing charitable organizations around the world to ensure children are being fed nutritious meals.
NCH is the only UK-wide charity working in all four home nations in the UK via approximately 500 projects. They help more than 160,000 of the UK's most vulnerable children, young people and their families.
The Hackney Young Carers Project provides support, advice, recreational and educational opportunities for children aged 5-18 years old who care for a member of their family or household. The person they care for may have a physical illness, a physical or learning disability, mental health problem, abuse drugs or alcohol or
be frail and elderly.

Led by a qualified nutritionist, the weekly sessions will teach the children the importance of good nutrition and how to shop for and cook nutritious meals for them and their families. As well as being educational, it is also a chance for the youngsters to have a nutritious meal and to have fun with peers in similar situations.

A donation to NCH was made by Herbalife CEO Michael O. Johnson during his visit to London to take part in the company-sponsored Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon. The event was also a major fundraiser for the Casa Herbalife project with more than 240 staff and independent distributors taking part with a fundraising party held in
central London during the weekend.

This is the third Casa Herbalife program established in the company's Europe, Middle East and African region, the other two are in Hungary and Greece.

Team Herbalife Wins Corporate Spirit Award

Team Herbalife was awarded the Corporate Spirit Award at the 19th annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon Sunday, given to the company that raises the most money for pediatric AIDS research. The team raised $160,000, the largest among corporate teams, to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). The company also retains the Corporate Challenge Cup for the fastest men's and women's times among competing companies.

Triathlete Erika Aklufi, sponsored by Herbalife (NYSE:HLF), placed first as overall female amateur racer, as well as placing first in women's 25-29 division (1:27:00). Out of all female competitors, amateur and professional, Aklufi had the second fastest time for the triathlon.

The event raised a total of $500,000 for EGPAF. Over the past nine years, the event has donated approximately $1.4 million to this charity.

Herbalife was the official nutrition sponsor of the event with 140 participants competing on Team Herbalife.

Herbalife competed among corporate challengers including Kaiser and Nestle. Funds were raised by employees and Herbalife independent distributors, with support from the Herbalife Family Foundation, whose mission is to support children at risk around the world.

"I'm honored to work with people who 'walk the talk' everyday and show how people and companies can make a huge difference in their communities," said Herbalife Chief Executive Officer Michael O. Johnson. "We have incredible employees and distributors who demonstrate what Herbalife is all about."

"We commend the efforts of everyone on Team Herbalife in raising the money in the corporate challenge of this event to support pediatric AIDS research," said Sherry Vrooman, external events manager at Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Triathlon Diet Sponsorship

Herbalife Ltd. today announced a four year sponsorship of UK-based Under 20 European Junior Triathlon Champion and World Junior Duathlon Champion Olly Freeman.

In the first major sports sponsorship for Herbalife in the UK, the performance-based contract will run up to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, in which Freeman intends to represent Great Britain in the elite triathlon. The deal makes Herbalife his official nutrition sponsor.

Freeman, 19, is also the current World Junior Triathlon Silver Medallist and the London Junior Triathlon Champion. He will be competing again at this year's Michelob Ultra London Triathlon, of which Herbalife is also official nutrition sponsor, in the junior elite sprint category. This is his last year as a junior.

Freeman has just been voted "Youth Athlete of the Year" by the UK-based triathlon publication "220." As part of the Herbalife sponsorship deal, Freeman will compete in branded 'Team Herbalife' kit when permitted by competition rules.

"Herbalife's key message is good nutrition for a healthy and active lifestyle," said Neil Spiers, regional head, Northern Europe for Herbalife. "Olly Freeman represents a talented young person who recognizes the role of good nutrition to help him maximize his performance in an elite sport.

"He also represents commitment, hard work and enthusiasm which are also key to success in the direct selling industry. Olly is a perfect representative for our brand and will create a huge amount of excitement for our distributors in both the UK and abroad. We are delighted to be supporting Olly in his training for the 2008 Olympics."

"I am thrilled to be supported by Herbalife," said Olly Freeman. "I know the vital role that good nutrition plays in achieving results, whether you are an elite athlete like myself or a Sunday sportsman."

Freeman will compete for the first time as part of Team Herbalife at the London Triathlon, August 6-7, 2005. Team Herbalife will consist of more than 170 employees, independent distributors, friends and families who will compete individually and in relay teams. This makes the company the largest newcomer team entry to the event in 2005. Participants include Herbalife CEO Michael O Johnson, also a triathlete.

Freeman's sponsorship deal is the second major deal for Herbalife this year. In June, the company announced a multi million dollar U.S. sponsorship deal with the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour to make LiftOff(TM)(a), Herbalife's new effervescent energy drink tablet, the official energy drink through the 2007 season.

Herbalife is also official nutrition sponsor of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon which takes place in September in Malibu, California and for which Herbalife holds the Corporate Challenge title.
