Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF), a global nutrition direct-selling company, announced that its products will be sold through independent distributors in Zambia, the company's 65th market, as of July 16, 2007. Imtiaz Ebrahim, general manager of South Africa, will also oversee day-to-day operations in Zambia.

As in other parts of the world, a critical need for healthy nutrition coupled with an opportunity for Zambians to supplement their income well suits the company's offerings. Its proximity to South Africa, where Herbalife has been conducting business since 1995, also makes Zambia a desirable location.

Two products will be available from the company's nutrition line: Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix and Herbal Tea Concentrate, both in multiple flavors.

Internationally Recognized Physician from India Joins Herbalife's Nutrition Advisory Board

Herbalife Ltd. has expanded its Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) with the addition of Anoop Misra, M.D. of India, an internationally recognized specialist on diabetes and metabolic disease. Anoop Misra was awarded Padma Shri (one of the highest national honors) by the President of India.

The Herbalife NAB is comprised of leading experts around the world in the fields of nutrition, diet and health who educate and train Herbalife independent distributors on the principles of nutrition, physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. The board is chaired by David Heber, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Misra is director and head of the diabetes and metabolic diseases department and a senior consultant in internal medicine at Fortis Group of Hospitals, New Delhi. He is a former professor of medicine and diabetologist at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he received his medical degree. Misra has also been
on the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Royal London Medical School in the U.K.

He has been published in more than 150 scientific papers in international journals; received multiple awards including the highest award for medical science in India, the Dr. B. C. Roy Award; and has served as the personal physician of two Prime Ministers of India. He is a reviewer for several prestigious international journals including "The Lancet" and "Circulation."

In addition to his work, Misra is very active in community outreach programs that bring health and nutrition education and awareness to disadvantaged children and women in urban slums, and to school children.

Jaime Elkin Ackerman has been appointed as managing director, and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the country. The company's head office will be located in the capital city of Lima.

Herbalife was established in California in 1980. The company began doing business in South America in 1994 in Venezuela and Argentina. Peru will be the seventh market on this continent.

2007.

Prior to joining Herbalife, Elkin was the national sales director of Avon Ecuador, after serving as marketing director for Avon Ecuador and Colombia. He holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and a marketing specialization from Javeriana University of Colombia.

(NYSE:HLF) today announced the opening of business in Costa Rica, its second Central American country and now the 62nd country where Herbalife products will be sold through the company's network of independent distributors. Sergio Medina, vice president, Mexico and Central America, will oversee the day-to-day operations in Costa Rica. The company's head office will open for business in San Jose on April 25, 2006.

Herbalife was established in California in 1980 and began doing business in the Central American region in 2000 in Panama. Today, it is present in thirteen countries in the Americas region.
