Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) today announced the opening of business in Costa Rica, its second Central American country and now the 62nd country where Herbalife products will be sold through the company's network of independent distributors. Sergio Medina, vice president, Mexico and Central America, will oversee the day-to-day operations in Costa Rica. The company's head office will open for business in San Jose on April 25, 2006.

"At Herbalife we believe in creating environments of opportunity for everyone. "Our products have universal appeal due to the need for improved nutrition around the world."

A range of products from Herbalife's inner nutrition lines will be available, including Formula 1 shakes in three flavors, Formula 2 Multivitamin Complex, Formula 3 Personalized Protein Powder, NRG Tablets and Tea, as well as Herbalifeline and Herbal Aloe Concentrate.
