Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) announces its two-year sponsorship of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF).

This year's event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005 at Zuma Beach in Malibu, CA. Team Herbalife will return to defend its title as winners of the Corporate Challenge with teams consisting of employees, independent distributors, friends and families who will compete individually and on relay teams. The Corporate Challenge brings together employees of non-entertainment companies to compete and fundraise.

"The Corporate Challenge is a terrific opportunity for companies to bring their employees together for health and fitness, have a great time and support an important cause," said Herbalife Chief Executive Officer and triathlete Michael O. Johnson. "We're going to have an even greater presence this year and raise as much as possible for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation."

Now in its 19th year, 2000 participants are expected to compete in the event that attracts celebrities, and professional and amateur athletes who complete a half mile ocean swim, 18-mile bike ride and four mile run. Past celebrity participants include Jennifer Garner, Robin Williams, Tom Cruise, David Duchovny, and two-time male celebrity division champion, Tate Donovan. Michellie Jones, 2000 Olympic silver medalist, was the women's victor for the past two years.

The course can also be done by relay teams, where each member completes one or two legs of the event.

"Herbalife has played a big role in increasing the visibility of our Corporate Challenge," said Michael Epstein, founder of event organizer MESP. "Their sponsorship illustrates their commitment to helping children in need as well as encouraging employees to live a healthy lifestyle."

In seven years, the Triathlon has helped raise over $830,000 for EGPAF.
